This custom overmolded housing integrates a rigid plastic or metal substrate with a soft-touch silicone outer layer, providing both structural integrity and ergonomic grip. The housing is designed for sensors and electronic devices requiring IP67/IP68 protection. Our composite molding process ensures a hermetic seal between the substrate and silicone, preventing moisture ingress. Custom geometries, colors, and surface textures are available. Prototyping lead time is 7-10 days with low-cost tooling options.
