Description

This overmolding product combines a metal insert with liquid silicone rubber (LSR) or solid silicone using our proprietary molding process. The chemical bonding ensures zero delamination under thermal cycling and pressure. The metal insert provides structural rigidity while the silicone provides sealing and damping. Commonly used in automotive, aerospace, and industrial applications where both strength and sealing are required. Custom insert materials (steel, aluminum, brass) and silicone formulations are available.
