Application Overview

Battery pack sealing is a safety function: the gasket must hold IP67/IP68 across thermal cycling, vibration and coolant exposure for the life of the vehicle. We supply die-cut, molded and co-extruded silicone seals with compression-set-optimized compounds, flame-retardant grades (UL 94 V-0) and thermal-interface options. PPAP-style documentation supports OEM validation.

Manufacturing Process

Pack seals are produced by compression molding, die-cutting or co-extrusion depending on geometry and volume.

Low compression-set compounds (<10% at 70 h / 150 °C) maintain gasket load over vehicle life
Flame-retardant and thermally conductive filler options
Splice-vulcanized rings for large perimeter seals — joint strength ≥ 80% of base material
Pressure-sensitive adhesive or mechanical-fixing feature options
